Dr. KDSS B.O.T.C.K - Bolt On Track Bar Correction Kit LC200/LX570

What It Does

  • Fixes that sketchy, side-to-side axle swing after a lift.
  • Brings your track bar (panhard bar) back to a more natural, level position.
  • Keeps your rig tracking straight, planted, and predictable on-road and off.
Bolt-on design — no welding, no guesswork.

Why It Matters

  • When you lift your rig, the track bar angle gets steep. That forces the axle to swing left/right instead of moving up/down — making the rear feel unstable.
  • The B.O.T.C.K. raises the pivot point to flatten that bar and bring your handling back to normal. Simple fix, huge difference.

Shorty vs. Regular – Pick the Right One

How to Pick the Correct B.O.T.C.K. Version

  1. Park on level ground.

  2. Measure from the ground to the center of the frame-side track-bar bolt.

  3. Measure from the ground to the center of the axle-side track-bar bolt.

  4. Subtract the two measurements to find your bolt-height difference:

    • 1.5"–2.99" → Shorty Version (or use the bottom hole on the Standard bracket)

    • 3" or higher → Standard Version (use the top hole)

Planning to lift higher later? Go with the Standard Version — it gives you extra mounting options as your suspension height changes.

Installation Guide
Tools Required:
Socket wrench set (including 14mm, 19mm)
Torque wrench
Pry bar
Jack and jack stands
Round file (for minor adjustments if needed)
Safety gloves and eye protection
Installation Steps
1. Preparation
Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
Use jack stands to support the rear axle for clearance.
Remove the passenger-side rear wheel for easier access.
2. Removing Factory Track Bar
Loosen the driver’s side/frame-side track bar bolt to relieve pressure.
Remove the axle-side track bar bolt using a 19mm socket and set the factory bar aside.
Secure the removed bar with a bungee cord or straps.
3. Installing the Correction Kit
Insert the back bracket into the factory track bar mount on the axle.
Position the front bracket over the OEM mounting location.
Install the provided M14 x 80mm flange head bolt loosely for alignment.
Secure the remaining bolts and ensure proper fitment.
4. Torque Specifications
Torque all bolts to 105 ft-lbs to ensure they are properly secured, except for the m10 those will be 35 - 40 ft-lbs.
Use plenty of blue loctite, or a dab of red.
If mounting holes are tight due to powder coating, gently file the edges or press them in.
5. Final Checks
Ensure the track bar is parallel to the ground for optimal performance.
Lower the vehicle and perform a short test drive to confirm improvements.
Re-torque all bolts after 100 miles of driving.
