The Ford Raptor is already one of the most capable trucks on the road, but let's be honest, they're everywhere.

The goal of this build wasn't to reinvent the wheel or turn the truck into something it isn't. The owner simply wanted a Raptor that stood out from the crowd, looked a little more aggressive, and was better equipped for everything from road trips to backcountry adventures.

The biggest visual change comes from the wheel and tire package. We paired a set of Vossen HFX-1 wheels in Terra Bronze with 37-inch Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 tires, completely changing the look of the truck while adding additional capability both on and off-road.

To make room for the larger tires, we installed SPS cam bolts along with an RPG Offroad spring perch kit. The combination provides the clearance needed for the 37s while maintaining the excellent ride quality the Raptor is known for.

From there, the focus shifted toward performance, sound, and lighting.

A COBB intercooler was added to improve cooling performance, while an AWE exhaust with black tips gives the truck a deeper, more aggressive sound without becoming obnoxious on longer drives.

Lighting was another major focus of the build. Baja Designs S2 SAE Pocket Fog Lights improve visibility during poor weather, while a set of Baja Designs XL Linkables mounted in the grille provide serious output when the sun goes down. Baja Designs Squadron Pro ditch lights help illuminate the edges of the trail, and Baja Designs S2 Sport Dual Reverse Lights make backing up at night significantly easier.

The result is a truck that still drives like a Raptor should, but feels far more personal. It's subtle enough to daily drive, capable enough to explore, and different enough that it won't get lost in a parking lot full of Raptors.

We'd like to thank the owner for trusting KRAVE Automotive with the build. We couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
