2024+ Toyota Land Cruiser J250
The J250 series Land Cruiser Prado, unveiled on 2 August 2023, will be marketed as the Land Cruiser 250 in Japan and simply the Land Cruiser in North America and some European countries, while other markets like Australia and China will retain the Land Cruiser Prado nameplate. The new model emphasizes "practicality, durability, and dependability," with a retro-inspired, boxy exterior reminiscent of the J60 model from the 1980s. Built on the GA-F platform shared with the larger J300 series, it boasts a 50% increase in frame rigidity and a 30% increase in overall rigidity. It features electric power steering (EPS) for improved off-road handling and maneuverability. With a maximum approach angle of 31.0 degrees, a departure angle of 22.0 degrees, a breakover angle of 25 degrees, and ground clearance of 221 mm (8.7 in), all models come with a full-time four-wheel drive system, a center locking differential, an electronic two-speed transfer case, and a standard electronic locking rear differential for enhanced traction control.
