Long before KRAVE Automotive existed, this Tacoma was already part of the journey.
Over the years it's worn different suspension setups, different bumpers, different wheels, different ideas, and somehow always managed to come back better than before.
At this point, calling it a build almost feels wrong.
It's more of an ongoing project.
Featured on the Tacoma Beast YouTube channel and recognized by Toyota enthusiasts across North America, this truck has earned a bit of a reputation over the years. Despite everything that's been done to it, it's still being driven, wheeled, upgraded, and enjoyed.
In the last few years alone the truck has received a completely new Toyota frame, multiple suspension overhauls, fresh armour, drivetrain upgrades, and enough fabrication work to make fitting 37s look easy.
Spoiler alert: it wasn't.
The current version sits on Raceline beadlocks and 37" Yokohama Geolandar X-MTs, backed by long travel suspension, a TRD supercharger, dual batteries, and enough Baja Designs lighting to turn night into day.
Most builds eventually reach a finish line.
This truck never really has.
Every few years it comes back through the shop for another round of upgrades, another new idea, or another excuse to make it a little more capable than it already was.
And honestly, that's probably why we like it so much.
It's never been about building the perfect Tacoma. It's been about building a Tacoma, using it, improving it, and then doing it all over again.
We can't wait to see what version of this truck exists five years from now.
Yeeew!!
