Mudbath TRD Pro Tacoma

Built to tackle muddy trails, remote backroads, and everything in between, this Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro is a perfect example of a vehicle that balances serious off-road capability with everyday drivability.

The owner wanted a truck that could confidently handle challenging terrain today while laying the foundation for future adventures, including a camper setup down the road. Every modification was selected with that goal in mind, creating a platform that is equally comfortable on the highway as it is deep in the backcountry.

Up front, protection and recovery capability come courtesy of a C4 Fabrication Lo-Pro Front Bumper paired with a Warn EVO 10-S winch. Lighting upgrades include Baja Designs fog lights and driving lights, providing improved visibility for late-night trail runs and remote travel. Underneath, a complete set of OK Expedition skid plates helps protect critical components from rocks, ruts, and trail obstacles.

Along the sides, Greenlane Offroad rock sliders provide added protection while maintaining a clean and functional appearance. Out back, the truck is equipped with a C4 Fabrication Overland Rear Bumper and a RIGd tire swing system, creating a practical solution for carrying a full-size spare and additional gear.

Knowing a camper may be in this truck's future, we installed the SDHQ Under Hood Power Solution Kit to provide a clean and expandable electrical foundation for future accessories and power management systems.

Suspension duties are handled by a premium combination of ELKA Suspension and Dobinsons components. Up front, ELKA 2.5 DSC Reservoir Coilovers provide exceptional ride quality, control, and adjustability. In the rear, ELKA 2.5 DSC Reservoir Shocks are paired with Dobinsons C59-819V Variable Rate Lift Springs to improve load-carrying capability while maintaining excellent ride comfort.

Supporting suspension upgrades include Dobinsons adjustable rear sway bar links, Dobinsons adjustable upper and lower rear control arms, and the KRAVE Rear Panhard Correction Kit, ensuring proper suspension geometry and predictable handling both on and off-road.

The truck sits on Stealth Custom Series Blaze10 wheels finished in Matte Jet Black, wrapped in 35-inch Yokohama Geolandar X-AT G017 tires. The combination delivers excellent traction, durability, and a stance that perfectly complements the Tacoma's aggressive appearance.

To finish off the build, ARK Splash Guards were installed front and rear, helping protect the bodywork while maintaining a clean factory-plus look. To further protect the truck from years of trail use and road-trip miles, the Tacoma also received a full Stealth Paint Protection Film wrap. The satin finish completely transformed the appearance of the vehicle, giving it a unique, rugged look while helping protect the paint from rock chips, brush, and everyday wear and tear.
