Dr. KDSS Front KDSS Sway Bar Outer Bushing

These bushings must be used in combination with the Dr. KDSS Bushing Brackets

Sold in pairs – grease and installation instructions included

Polyurethane bushings require grease periodically, this is not a flaw in the design. The OEM KDSS bushings are made from extremely soft rubber that allow for too much flex. These polyurethane bushings are designed to be more rigid, with deep knurling into the inner part of the bushing to allow grease to hold in better. They provide more steering input and allow the suspension to cycle even cleaner when combined with the KDSS Adapters that correct the angle of the bushings.

Installation Guide
Tools Required:

Socket wrench set
Grease (included)
Torque wrench
Rubber mallet (optional for fitting)
Installation Steps:
1. Preparation:

Park the vehicle on a flat, stable surface.
Secure the front wheels with chocks and lift the front end with jack stands for safety.
2. Removing OEM Bushings:

Locate the OEM sway bar outer bushings.
Use a socket wrench to remove the existing brackets and bushings.
Clean the sway bar and bracket areas thoroughly before installing the new bushings.
3. Installing New Bushings:

Apply a generous amount of the provided grease to the inner knurling of the bushings.
Place the new polyurethane bushings onto the sway bar.
Reinstall the brackets securely using the existing hardware.
Torque the bolts to manufacturer specifications.
4. Final Checks:

Inspect for proper alignment and ensure the bushings move freely without binding.
Lower the vehicle and conduct a test drive to verify performance improvements.
